Located in the Lyons Four Square
Park,
the Lyons Branch Library is small and cozy,
yet provides all basic library services.
**We now have 4 new computers at the Lyons Branch **
**They are a gift from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.**
**They have many programs for all the family. **
**Come in and see them!!!**
The Branch receives a selection of current popular fiction and non-fiction. It also maintains
a collection of standard fiction and a range of non-fiction materials. Periodicals, such as popular magazines and area and national newspapers, are available for in-house viewing and for checkout.
For the younger readers the Branch has collections of books for infants and toddlers,
beginning readers, juvenile fiction and nonfiction, and young adult material.
Items for circulation, not located at the Branch, may be conveniently requested from the
Main Library and will be delivered to the Branch for checkout. Material checked out
at the Lyons Branch can be returned to the Main Library and visa versa.
Other services and materials to be found at the Branch are: adult and children books on cassette or CD, children's videos, a copy machine, Internet access, a summer reading program for children, federal student aid applications, and tax forms.
