Access Plus
is a book sharing subsidy program. Participating libraries agree to loan materials to other libraries for use by their patrons
Accreditation and Standards for all the states libraries are voluntary and are set by the State Library in Des Moines to promote excellence in library service.
Certification Program is an education program for Iowa library staff that encourages librarians to acquire, maintain, and develop their skills through basic and continuing education.
Children's Story-time introduces children to books and encourages a love of reading.
Internet Access for research, email or just surfing the web.
Materials come in a wide variety of
genres and formats in the library. We have fiction, mystery, western books and more. We have
audiobooks on cassettes and CDs, and LARGE PRINT books. We have videos for all ages and of course a very nice collection of periodicals. We have non-fiction materials for research including special reference books.
Open Access is a statewide 'library card" program. Participating libraries allow any Iowa citizen to check out materials from any library in the state. Great for travelers!
Reference Service is available through your local library.
Regional reference services can be called upon if local resources can't answer your questions.
Summer Reading Programs are a fun way to encourage children to read for pleasure and to introduce them to the public library.
Tax Materials for
both state and federal returns are available at your library.
